Good copy, with its rare illustrated  dust jacket, of Mode in Paris, the book devoted to Parisian fashion by the journalist of the Frankfurter Zeitung Kathe Von Porada. Kathe Von Porada explains in this book the operation of a Parisian fashion house, buyers, clothing and also presents several great couturiers including Chanel, Vionnet and Poiret. A very interesting documentation on the world of Parisian couture with many illustrations including portraits of Worth, Lanvin, Vionnet, Chanel, Molyneux, Patou and Poiret.

The cover reproduces a photograph of the famous staircase at the House of Chanel.
